Pathfinders Guidance Center offers certified counseling and educational classes designed to increase awareness, stop abusive behaviors, and support personal growth. All programs meet the requirements of the Kern County Superior Courts, Department of Human Services, and Kern County Probation Department.

Our Parent Neglect Classes are designed to educate and empower caregivers by providing essential tools and strategies to recognize and address neglect. Our Counseling Classes for Failure to Protect are designed for parents whose children have been victims of neglect, physical, or sexual abuse. These classes focus on raising awareness of abuse and equipping parents with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify warning signs. Participants will learn how to effectively get their children the help they need and develop strategies to protect them from further harm. Through supportive discussions and practical exercises, our program aims to empower parents to take an active role in their children's safety and well-being, fostering a nurturing environment for healing and growth.

Class Fees

All classes have an enrollment fee of $50.00, with an additional cost of $25.00 per class. We offer flexible options for participation, including in-person and virtual classes via Zoom. Classes are available in the morning, midday, evening, and on weekends from Monday to Sunday. Call us today to schedule an intake or complete the enrollment form online.
